Application: The R+S GAS MONITOR can be used to monitor the amount of oxygen in tunnels or other buildings, giving the maintenance personal the possibility to check the tunnels before entering, therefor preventing accidents. A safe operation without oxygen-masks in an environment with an oxygen level below 21% is not possible.

The GAS MONITOR monitors the air constantly for a validation of the given limits.  In case of validation a ventilator is switched on and warning signs and sirens are being activated. Therefore people are warned accustically and optically to enter the tunnel.

The GAS MONITOR has an interface to send an alarm message to the connected building management system, either via modem or via direct bus connection.

The building management system (IRMA control) can send a sms to the maintenance personal and monitor the incoming data with a trend.
